Brand New

Well, i decided to get a blog! I have always wanted a blog but thought it was just another waste of time like facebook.... You may be wondering what GF girl stands for... it means gluten free girl!! yess i have celiac disease, its where i am allergic to gluten (flour, wheat...) I found out about 5 months ago... WOW it has been that long?? how time flyssss! It is a challenge every day figuring out what to eat or even what i CAN eat. Some people think it would be such a burden and of course like any trial in life it is a burden but I learned to make it positive! I think of it this way, I get to try new foods and eat healthier because i have celiac disease. Well, to shift gears my post title is BRAND NEW because everything in life right now is brand new... college experiences, friends, the name of my new favorite band... "Brand New" and many other things! I am loving life right now, but of course like every other freshman college student...I am missing home. I get home in 3 weeks and can not wait to see my family, my friends, my nephews and nieces!! I hope you all enjoy my blog!
